Learn to ice fish in Peterborough

New Hampshire already has lots snow, temperatures are at or below freezing, and lakes and ponds are frozen...tell-tale signs that Old Man Winter is here. Why not get outside and enjoy the New Hampshire winter by partaking in a Granite State tradition: ice fishing.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department’s Let’s Go Fishing Program, in partnership with other groups, is offering an ice fishing class here in Peterborough.  Here are the details: Peterborough Recreation Department – One-day workshop on Saturday, March 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Just $8 and includes a barbeque on the ice. contact us or call (603) 924-8080 for more information
