November notes… art, music, and theater!

Happy Halloween!

Well, it turns out that keeping up with our blog lately has been harder than we had expected. We had hoped to post some notes and pictures from Keene Pumpkin Festival weekend and some pictures of the fall foliage, but now that seems to be "old news". So instead, we'll relay some information about upcoming events.

Veterans' Day weekend (November 9, 10, & 11) brings the League of NH Craftsmen Open Studio Tour throughout New Hampshire and within 10 miles of the NH border in Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. The self-guided tour includes several artists in this area (in Peterborough, Harrisville, Keene, Antrim, Francestown and others). More information, including tour details and map, is available at www.nhcrafts.org.

November 10th is also the next date in the Peterborough Folk Music Society's 2007-2008 Concert Series. Cheryl Wheeler, with special guest Antje Duvekot, will be performing. The concert series features additional shows monthly from October through April (with 2 concerts in January). For their full schedule and more information, please go to http://pfmsconcerts.org.

One more thing... Peterborough Players is having their annual gala auction this coming weekend (November 3). For those of us who are unable to attend the live auction, the fun and bidding will continue through next week with their online auction (November 4-10) at www.peterboroughplayers.org. If you do browse their online auction, look for a Little River B&B Gift Certificate among the offerings.
